A new stranger

Today, as I was fighting over a facebook post with a stranger, a message pop-up. Bing! A new friend on Facebook was waving at me. I started the debate about how badly the people of my country are in need of good education. Since they are accusing ghosts and magic for every unusual event. He just asked me what I was doing to create awareness. I told him I was shaking everyone's minds to wake them up but I wasn't doing enough because I am afraid that people will accuse me of not being loyal to my religion (in my country it is a matter of life and death) and a mob of illiterate people will kill me and I don't want to get killed by illiterate people. If people have to kill me then they should form a mob of philosophers. As I was jokingly telling him all that he began to tell me the deepest parts of his life (which i really appreciate him as it have changed me as a person). I have promised him that I won't spill his secret so I am not going to do that but I will say that this world is really cruel and behind every suicide and every single murder the real culprits are the people who messes with the childhood of other people. That's just one side of the coin! Now flip it over... Some heroes are born because they don't want the world to suffer from the same pain that they have gone through.
The new Facebook friend was my university fellow and he knew some of my friends as well but I never saw him and from now on he will be in my sight because today I have found a living hero and a legend.

Seven years into the war, Seven years are long enough! Long enough to finish seven generations, Long hard sleepless nights, please someone hear my sighs! Long enough to go deaf, with all the noise we've heard all our lives, Seven years are long enough, Long enough to realise, who we are and with whom we fight! Long enough between those cries, that haven't been answered by any allies! Look into those innocent eyes, what have they done to deserve this demise. THE WOMAN

She woke up with a sudden jerk; covered in sweat she patted her forehead. She was having the same dream that she had been having since she was 6. "The woman...!" She thought to herself. "Who is she?
